On October 7, HRWatchdog will become HRCalifornia Now. We are bringing together our HRWatchdog blog posts and our HRCalifornia long-form articles to create a single, comprehensive HR resource for California and federal employment law, explained in plain language by the experts who track it. This is part of our completely redesigned CalChamber, Advocacy and HRCalifornia websites, which go live the same day.
Everyone can continue to read our news and analysis, and CalChamber members will still have access to our more in-depth articles when logged in. These longer articles include our upcoming 2027 New Employment Laws, where our employment law experts cover in greater detail all the new employment-related laws.
Starting October 7, HRWatchdog will automatically redirect to HRCalifornia Now, and that’s not the only change. CalChamber members will have one sign-on across CalChamber including Advocacy, HRCalifornia, the Employee Handbook Creator Online Tool and the CalChamber Store. This new login process will be simpler and designed to keep members signed in as they move between CalChamber websites. Note that CalChamber’s on-demand learning management system will maintain a separate login and is not part of the single sign-on experience.
Alongside the unified login experience, visitors will experience a fresh modern design, faster load times and simpler navigation to help find compliance answers even faster. Current account holders will receive an email on October 6 with instructions to activate their new profile.
Not a member? HR compliance doesn’t stand still as California employers face ongoing obligations and new requirements — from updated forms and training mandates to local ordinances and notices. HRCalifornia helps employers understand what is required for their business to stay prepared as requirements change. See how CalChamber can help you — schedule a demo or try a free trial today.
Thank you for reading HRWatchdog! We hope you join us at HRCalifornia Now for the same timely HR resources and in-depth answers to employment law.
