Revised CFRA Regulations May Be On The Way

As HRWatchdog previously reported, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Council has proposed amendments to the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) regulations.

Recently, the Council approved final language for the proposed CFRA regulations. The proposed regulations now go to the Office of Administrative Law for review and approval.

Several of the proposed changes were made to align the California regulations more closely to the federal Family and Medical leave Act (FMLA) regulations.
